Tired of popcorn time ****ting the bed when it comes to BB10? I am glad to say that those days are over! (at least for me) After tirelessly testing many popcorn development installers I came across one which FINALLY worked on my Blackberry Q10! I am running the app superbly on 10.3.1.2708.

    Heres how I did it

    1. Download / Install VLC Player for Android via Snap or any other App Store which has it

    2. Download / Install one of the dev popcorn time apk files from the links below.

IMPORTANT: THE VERSION WHICH I CAN CONFIRM WORKS ON MY Q10 IS THE FIRST LINK, (mobile-armeabi-v7a-development-533.apk).

    mobile-armeabi-v7a-development-533

    mobile-armeabi-development-533

    mobile-x86-development-533

    3. Open Popcorn Dev

    4. Tap the side navigation button at the top left of the screen (once clicked you can switch between movies and shows)

    5. Tap Preferences

    6. Tap Default video player

    7. Reassign video player from INTERNAL to VLC

    8. Tap the back button and start watching!

Side note: when reassigning the video player youll notice that you can choose to use the browser. Sadly I have been unable to get this to work properly but if working properly I will be able to use popcorn time with my smart TV through by Blackberry!

Thanks. I've been looking for a working ShowBox file. This works on my AT&T Passport.

How I Got Popcorn Time to actually work on my Blackberry!-img_20150622_003004.png This version works great. I haven't tested the new version but it works amazing well without needing any tweaks

I had that one on my Z10 and then passport and still wouldn't work. Every time I tried to play a show/movie it would want to open the browser and wouldn't play even though I had the internal player selected.

I found that SKY HD formerly HD Cinema is the best. I tried these others and nothing compared to SKY HD.
