I've switched to Wind mobile about two weeks now, and there's this icon/app that doesn't seem to stay gone no matter how many times I decide to delete it. It keeps coming back everytime I restart my phone, so it is a continuous process everytime. I even tried putting it in a folder, but after a restart/some time, it comes out and put itself on the homescreen outside of the folder. If anyone knows how to get rid of it for good, lemme know plz

Great macro shot. Love the wallpaper. Have no idea how to fix your issue.

It's not an app. It's "sim services"

It's something that Wind gives you, in lieu of an app, in order to not bloat your phone with useless software (although there is a win mobile app for bb10 now)

You can get rid of it, removing and hiding in folders won't work.

On my older phone, someone developed an app to hide it (wind is not the only carrier who does this)

But you need root access, and Blackberry does not provide this.

So move it to the last page, and leave it there. Only solution really.

It's based on sim, so if you remove the sim, it will disappear.

I was aware of bloatware that cell companies preload on the phone, and I've managed to delete them permanently in the past, so I was ignorant to the fact that these sim services are different. I had Koodo before, and they didn't have anything like this so it's good to know of their existance

Thanks a ton for the info

You cant remove it. Every provider has a sim service app on the phone. Bell, rogers, telus, wind etc.....

    Just ignore it

So you can't even put this thing into a folder and hide it on a different app page with all of your other bloatware? Does it remove itself from folders you put it in?

Yes it does, the third page is non existent, but whenever I put the thing into a folder on the second page, it takes itself out and puts itself on its own third page comfortably since there's no other room on the home screen in the second page.

And it WANTS to be at the very end of whichever page it might be, so when I put it into the first row of a page, it took itself back to the very last row once restarted hehe

This is where it rests now...
