Does anyone know how I can get rid of the amazon appstore that comes preinstalled with the Q10? I tried to delete it via the chrome extension, but it keeps reinstalling itself...

Device monitor, storage, Amazon app store, delete (little trashcan at bottom).
Edit - Don't listen to me :p
if its a fresh install you need to upgrade the amazon appstore first and then you should get the trash can to delete it.
Why bother? It does you no harm, takes up very little space, and someday you may want to use it. If you don't like it, ignore it.
It is a system app now, it can't be removed any longer. Maybe someday, but not today.

[churchlady]Well...Isn't that special!
Blueyes technique work? I do agree, it's not only small and harmless, they have a nice free app on occasion.
It did on 10.3.0 versions. I'll have to see what version of the app is on 10.3.1. I don't uninstall as I use it and I don't bother upgrading the app either so I don't have the trashcan but I'll upgrade and verify again on 10.3.1
Idea: Create a folder called "Unwanted" or "not needed" or even a "." and then stuff all the Carrier bloatware or apps you don't want into that folder. They'll be out of sight and any updates won't bother you in the future, as well (for the most part).
On 10.3.1 it is the most current version at 11.0010.804.13C_641001010 which cannot be uninstalled from 10.3.1.1151
I have always had a folder I call "****e" for each of my BlackBerry devices - I put anything there I don't want and can't delete....

The only real reason I can see for deleting the app if it were not going to be used is the fact that this is one of those android apps that likes to load itself up and run in the background. Using up not only CPU time and memory, but also occasionally pegging the servers over both mobile data and wi-fi - even when the app is not actually in use.
Now, I do have an Amazon account and I have loaded some apps through it, so that could be the reason it loads up on my phone. I guess I could try logging out and finding out what would happen - besides the loaded apps not wanting to start up which I have come across before.

so there is no way that I uninstall this app?
I do not want to login so I have not tried but I DO want to remove it...
