I just worked this out for those who can't get the official update through carriers and don't want to deal with the hazards of loading a leak.

First thing is first you need to get Sachesi.

1. Search for the OS update.

2. Hit the "Download All" button

3. Go to the "install" tab and hit install: .bar

4. Select the folder that you downloaded from Sachesi.

5. All you have to do is wait.

It should take about 40 min to load the software.
As an advice take out the sim card. You don't want any phone call while doing the update
I didn't need it but do a Back up for safety

In India 10.2 update is only for stl100-1..

I dont understand how i can still this thing..... I downloaded sachesi....downloaded the bar files.... cliked install .bar bu then i open the folder and it takes me to where the bar files are....and nothing happens.


I need to wipe out the phone first?

I'm guessing that you have windows so instead of clicking. Bar click folder

Hey my friend! Hope you are doing well! If you are using Sachesi (should be) find your carrier and OS on Sachesi (I can get the codes for you if you don't have them) and then click on download all" Sachesi will download it into a folder called .424 (I think) and usually it loads on your desktop where you wouldn't look. If not, try in your documents or wait, you're on Mac right--ok, I have no idea what to do with MAC, but Sachesi stores the files in a folder and all you have to do is click on "install" and it will actually find the folder for you, or, if you have it in site, the easiest way is to just drag it over to Sachesi and it will download it for you. One one of these update related threads, there is step-by-step directions for MAC, or pm Xsacha directly for them. PM me and lets catch up. Jack

I just updated OS 424 on Airtel network in India through Sachesi tool using Vodafone (015) UK (234). Everything went very smooth. No hassels of backup and restore. Even all email accounts are intact and working. Great way of updating OS.

This is so bizarre! I did the download on my MAC and the folder was clear as day. BUT, I couldn't get sachesi to see my Z10 via USB. So what I'm trying now is that I transferred the files to my Google Drive and I will try to install on my PC.
