I give up. It downloaded in a million pieces and there is no way for me to get the install bar file manager to recognize it. My first failed update for an official or a leak in 7 years. It had to happen sooner or later.

By the way OP, thank you for doing this. I have no doubt it was by some mistake of mine. I might try again this weekend.

Is it normal for the screen to constantly go back and forth between 'searching for USB device' / password and the regular Install tab information???

Okay, this might be a stupid question but since I've tried all of latest 10.2 leaks and none of them have the working Wifi Calling feature, I've kept having to downgrade to 10.1 again. Tmobile has horrible service where I live so having no Wifi calling isn't an option for me. Does anyone know if upgrading with this method will give me Wifi calling capabilities?

Ok, disregard - definitely not normal...I was using the Beta 13 version (from an earlier post in this thread; went and DL'd the 1.1 version from the REAL thread in 'leaked OS' and using that, all seems to be working now. (fingers-crossed)

For those that have a Z10 STL 100-1 I have found the 10.2 OS Version on Vodafone UK, so you can try Country UK (234) and Carrier Vodafone (15).

And for those that could not find the folder where the OS was downloaded I suggest looking into the temp folder the program you are using to open the zip file is using. In my case, as I use Winrar and I didn't extract the Sachesi.exe file before executing it, I found the 10.2.0.424 folder in C:/Windows/Users/"My name"/AppData/Local/Temp/"Rar$Ex...

    Hope it helps.

That's normal since your carrier was not the one that release the update

If you're using windows instead of hitting Install: .bar(s) hit. Install:. Folder

Step 4 says to go to the folder where the files from Sachesi were downloaded to. However, when I downloaded the files, Sachesi downloaded them automatically without asking where to download them. Now I don't know where those files are.

So I've read through all of the posts and cannot find any answers to this question.....even thought it's been asked a couple of times. I've got a Z10 on Verizon STL 100-4. Do I use the Carrier code as what is stated in the OP or 480 for Verizon?
Has anyone with a Z10 STL 100-4 on Verizon done this upgrade?

I don't really know the perfect combination but a guy used Z10STL100-3 software and he said that it worked so I don't know if you want to give it a try

For all of you this will be easy just search in the forums for the latest leak and install it that's it

    Never mind

I just worked this out for those who can't get the official update through carriers and don't want to deal with the hazards of loading a leak.

First thing is first you need to get Sachesi.

    1. Search for the OS update.

    Attachment 213443

    2. Hit the "Download All" button

    3. Go to the "install" tab and hit install: .bar

    Attachment 213444

    4. Select the folder that you downloaded from Sachesi.

    Attachment 213452

    5. All you have to do is wait.

    Attachment 213445

It should take about 40 min to load the software.
As an advice take out the sim card. You don't want any phone call while doing the update
I didn't need it but do a Back up for safety
i think u have and error at step 3- i think i should be "install. folder" if u choose .bar you will have to select each .bar file one at a time or drag and drop the files to load the os. Im not sure if that method installs the core files and the radio or just the updated apps.

Just said that because that's how I did it in my Mac but windows definitely you have to hit folder. Like I said I wrote .bar because that's how I did it
