Take him for a check up - Blood and urine tests should help you determine how the battery is doing...
Check health using BlackBerry Virtual Expert.

I used that before, it just displays health status with a green color, but don't these batteries hold more info, especially the charge cycle which can help determine if the phone has been used before, etc.
Device monitor.

You need to enter the engineering screen, or better yet buy an app such as Battery Monitor or Battery and System Analyser (BASA) from BBW.

Do it at your own risk.

I see what you posted. I think you are new BlackBerry user. Because old BlackBerry users or experienced BlackBerry users never post this type of thread. I also think that you shifted from andriod to BlackBerry. If this is true then try to shift your mentality or concepts also this is not app centric os.
Straight cut answer is no . I charge my mobile every night and I turn off my phone twice in a week.

I use BaSA http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/33697896
Has good general battery info as well as general device monitoring.

Escreen does the job for me https://static.dyp.im/eXw4fNvxHJ/d76...693e02dd2a.png
Using the BlackBerry virtual Expert should be good enough. Batteries these days last between 500 - 1,000 cycles. Then they pretty much useless.
If you have a removable battery, consider replacing it after 2 years. To keep the device from slowing down. :)

Exactly what I needed, thank you three.
I totally forgot about escreen, which made me sweat bullets when I was trying to get LTE with AT&T on my Verizon and Unlocked Z30.
Yes, I plug it every night as I go to sleep and probably only really need to recharge every tow or three days, battery health is a dead issue, if you really want battery health issues get an Android and run dead before you get home!
