    Ok, here's the best way.
    1. Delete your account from the settings in the hub
    2. Delete the app
    3. Completely delete the app from the hub.
    4. Restar phone with the vol keyes

You can turn off in hub settings.

It is a cloud service to begin with, care to be more clear or precise?

I gave tried to remove from hub after signing out of WhatsApp and uninstalled it and reboot normally with no success.

All I did was turn off the switch in the hub settings. Then deleted the app

Not working for me. Have completely removed and uninstalled WhatsApp (including from the cloud), yet WhatsApp still shows in the Hub and in the Hub Settings with an option to turn off. WhatsApp glitch in 10.1? I have sent a message to the WhatsApp folks to see if they will advise on a resolution to this issue. Should I get a response, I will post it in this and related forums.

ISSUE RESOLVED! I installed the latest update to WhatsApp (that finally has the option to delete your WhatsApp account...); signed in, then deleted the WhatsApp account, rebooted, and lo and behold, the ghost of WhatsApp Past was removed from the Hub! I am relieved!
