You mean in the Hub from the Facebook app? Go into Settings>Accounts>Facebook and change the B-Day settings there if so. Unless you have them added in your Calendar and that's the one you're referring to, when you pull down the top of the Hub (Facebook ones also show there). Not sure how to remove them if they are added to your Calendar directly. I never add any that way. All mine come from Facebook.

Note: she is on 10.2.1 MR not 10.3. Her screen ahot wouldn't load due to format so I redid the screen shot on my phone which was on 10.3

I think those are set from others Facebook settings. Those people have their Facebook account set to share their birthday...not your option.

Have you reset the Hub or restarted your phone? Have you toggled the above-mentioned setting on and off again (including setting the pull down to 'none')? I've experienced some odd behaviour with that setting. Final resort would be removing your Facebook account altogether to purge the data.

I just toggled the setting on and saved it, then off and saved it. Now the birthdays are not showing at the top of my hub.

I don't think it has anything to do with the Facebook app itself though, just the Facebook account integration under settings. Typically, removing the account from there resolved those issues.

Here is the solution...as described by Bla1ze .Go settings- Accounts- Facebook
Now enable Sync Events if its already disabled. Now below in the Birthday Reminder select none and again disable the Sync events. Now don't forget to press Save at the top.
    That's it..ur good to go..!

Check the contacts, sometimes it is in there, but if she is on Exchange should do it from there, I sometimes have issues when making changes on the phone, the Exchange server resets it back.

    She doesn't have exchange

But you just made me think of something.since the birthday's are already under each contact and already saved into the calendar as well.

    Could that be it?

doesn't work on the official 10.2.1 OS.

not sure if it does on my 10.3.0..296 but then again it doesn't matter to me.

It just clogs up her calendar and hub and from the pictures above I have turned off the notifications

Note: the pictures from my phone say it's enabled but on hers it's not.

What can happen sometimes if you use BlackBerry Link and have it set to sync contacts and events and have sync events enabled on your Facebook app is BlackBerry Link syncs the Facebook events with your desktop calendar and then you are screwed. I don't know if link still does this or not as I made the mistake early on right after the z10 was released. The only solution I know of if your Facebook events did indeed get synced to your local calendar, which syncs to your exchange server is to manually go into your local calendar and delete the recurring events.
