If both addresses are installed on the phone you may tap the return address bar and choose a reply address. At least that works on some of the late leaks including 10.2.1.1925. Not in early OS versions.

Yes it is and no leak required. Tap forward, then tap the email address at the top to drop down the menu to choose which account you wish to forward from.

Doesn't work for me on 10.2.1.1925. I can forward using a different account (that exists on the phone), only if the original email to me was sent to an address that does not match one that is set up on my phone. Meaning -- I have one email account where a domain my work place owns auto-forwards all my email through my Gmail account. Those I can forward using any account I want that exists on the device.

But if I have [email protected] set up on my phone and you send me email to [email protected], I can only forward that email using the account [email protected].

    Hmmm.

Maybe it's due to the leak. I would post a screen shot but I don't feel like putting up my email addresses and I don't know how to black out those portions.

Thanks for the replies, for those not understanding, I have my own domain which receives emails to [email protected], when responding(technically I'm forwarding so I copy and paste the senders address) I wish for the recipient to then follow up to my address: [email protected] so I would change the from email on OS 7 and prior to my other account and the recipient has then received a reply and can respond to me personally rather than continue following up to the info@ address which my colleagues also access.

Seems you can't do this on OS 10 or at least not yet.

If anyone finds you can please continue to share your experience.

Upgraded to a Q10 from 9900 last week, still working out the quirks with the transition.

I'm running 1925 by the way.

I just did this to test it out.

    1. Open a received email sent to an address that is configured on the device.
    2. Press forward.
    3. In the compose window select the From address drop down list, select one of the other nine email addresses configured on the device
    4. Enter addressees
    5. Press send.

    Running 10.2.0.429/10.2.0.1803

    And for the doubters:

This works exactly the same on mine. Including "Forwarding"... not just composing.

It's not working on 1259 leak either. Pretty sure it's applicable on 10.2.0 cause I'd used once or twice.
The best way to do so is forward original email to address you want to send from and forward it again to address you wanted to and edit.

    I know It's 2 steps and pain.

Running 10.2 and I have no problem doing it. I have also done this to forwarding emails in 10.1

Seems strange that it's no longer available in the leaks. I can't imagine why they would take such a simple & useful feature out of the phone. Maybe it's not working in the leak because it's an unfinished OS and something is currently interfering with that function.

    OP
I suggest that you either down-grade to an official OS that supports this, or do the slightly complicated 2 step process described by the above poster.

I have the official latest Bell 10.2 release

If I receive an email through my Hotmail account, I can reply to it and send the message via any of the accounts on my phone.

If I receive an email through my Shaw account, I can only reply via the Shaw account it came through on - I cannot select another account to send it from.

    Just thought I'd add that.

Missing functionality they need to return pronto, I guess it's one of a few OS 7 functions they're still migrating across to the new OS.

It's not a real downgrade if your going from an unfinished leak too an official release. The advantages of leaks are that you get new features ect. BUT at the risk of missing other features & bugs ect.
