How to edit Outlook contact details so that after syncing to BB10, the Facebook account is added/linked to that contact?
i.e: I tried adding some detail like
IM: facebook.com/some.name
to Outlook contact, but aftersyncing, BB10 doesn't see the Facebook account

Anyone know?

P.S: I even tried to edit contacts in BB10 > edit Socail Account field but no way BB10 recognize that Facebook account (the following fails

So you have 2 separate contacts which you want to merge? Then tap long on the first one, choose Select More from the overflow menu, select the 2nd contact and tap on Link Contacts on the overflow menu.

No, I have only 1 contact in Outlook but want to edit that contact in a way that after syncing to BB10, it result in a main contact with Facebook linked to it

Ok, I was referring to your BlackBerry contacts. On your BlackBerry you end up with 2 contacts which you can link in the way I described. BlackBerry does link automatically the contacts only if they share either the same name or phone number as far as I know.

It's strange that in BB10 > Edit Contact, there's a "Social accounts" field for Facebook but every data enter here will not result in Facebook linking

Go to outlook.com on browser, go into settings, accounts, link Facebook to your outlook account, along with LinkedIn to. If you have outlook 2013 you can do it from there too.

The way the Contact app works is that you add contacts from multiple sources, included Social website (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc...) and then link them together. By doing so, you will have a list of last updates and activities from each contacts.
