How do I remove items or turn them off from the main view of the hub? I have already set the items to OFF under hub settings, restarted the hub and phone. Same problem (?) on 10.1 and 10.2.

Which items are you attempting to exclude?

I think he means the Hub menu....not the Hub itself.

To the OP...these Hub items are baked into the OS, and cannot be "eliminated" .... only turned off so that they don't show up in the actual Hub itself.

I think this is what he's asking.

This is something that worked in 10.0 and broke in 10.1+.

I guess it's possible BlackBerry changed it because people turned it off and then complained after they couldn't find it anymore? I mean look at how they had to add a Hub shortcut icon

Sigh...let's try this again....the Hub menu is baked in....you cannot edit the menu....only what appears in the actual Hub itself. So, in other words...the categories must stay....the messages can be filtered.

This has been mentioned before a few times. No point in complaining about it....it either works for people or it doesn't

For example, instant messengers in the Hub menu list.

As I indicated in my post, I already turned them off, then restarted the Hub and even the phone, still the items persist. If the user is not supposed to hide/remove them, why offer the option to turn them off?

I would like to know how to remove stuff from the hub as well like whatsapp I deleted it once but I could still see whatsapp in the hub after I restarted my phone so I downloaded it again (because I don't want something in my hub that doesn't work) even though I only have one contact for whatsapp any help would be great thanks

I think it's stupid. If I don't want to see the notifications in the HUB and I can turn them off, then I should also have the ability to edit the HUB menu to only display active accounts. My HUB menu looks like a mess right now!

Exactly my point...it doesn't work for you, but I like seeing the notification in the hub, without having it plug up my hub feed. It works for me, so I don't think it's stupid. To each, their own.

Turning off something in the Hub "View" is not the same thing as removing it from the Hub Menu. I'd expect to get it out of the menu, if it's an added app, you'll need to uninstall the app .

I would like to remove the calls icon in the hub I have it turned off but it still shows on the side. The only reason is because I can just use the phone app I'd rather had the hub just for emails and BBM /text anyway to do this?
