My notifications volume doesn't work at all. It has the line through the bell on the home screen, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to change it. The notification volume is locked and even when I click on settings>notifications the bell has the line through it. It's like my Q10 is permanently on vibrate only mode. Any help is much appreciated.

I need help with this too, it's ridiculous that BlackBerry did not fix it, it's not like it's a hidden bug :/

Low volume and the lack of black hub is why I think that Chen is going the apple route.why making black hub when the new phones got LCD. They are focusing only on Classic and Passport. They think we will buy Classic because Q got some issues...
Apple makes the old phones slow, chen is making the old phones quite :P

They dont know how to fix it. They obviously sacked the person who did know how.

They are playing out the end game in handsets right now.

I just thought of a workaround to this situation and it just might be worth a try:

    1. Download Audacity
    2. Import your mp3 notification sound into Audacity
    3. Raise the volume of the mp3 file through Audacity.
    4. Export the file as mp3, and put it back on your phone.

To be honest, I haven't tried it yet, but I think it just might work. Here's the link on how to raise the volume on Audacity: youtube.com/watch?v=TUOXerfR_08

Ok fellow BlackBerry Q10 users! I can confidently say after testing this simple process, it actually works! The notification volume is as loud as you want it to be!
