I've not used facebook and wechat and uninstalled them for a couple weeks. How come they still show on my Hub? Anyone knows how to delete them? Thanks.

It's bug , I think you can hide it in setting hub view

Don't know if u can hide them but u can move them to the bottom of the hub so that u won't see them unless u scroll all the way down. Just rearrange under settings when u r in the hub

If they're android apps, then you need to update the Android Runtime in order to be able to uninstall apps. Use this link via your phone's web browser, it'll redirect you to a hidden app in AppWorld that you need to install.

I think he means that the app does uninstall but for some reason the empty notification stays in the HUB

    Dealing with this as well.

Deleted Wechat but it's still showing up in the hub.

It is a BlackBerry World app.

    Any suggestions?

Go to the hub. Then open settings on bottom right. Open Hub Management then click on the account your are talking about.

In my example I use whatsapp. You will see.
    Show in hub
    Show in separate only
    Show in both

Just click separate only and it won't show up in the Hub anymore. It is a glitch that it won't erase from hub but this way it won't show anymore

Sometimes app accounts still remain with the device and can be quite anointing specially with notifications poping up even if the app is deleted.

Try this app to check out for zombie accounts :

Looks alright then, if you are using this accounts.
And if you're not got FB account listed it shouldn't interfering with zombie notifications from a previous installed FB app.
Do you may got any other app installed that is linked to FB somehow and still asking for or pulling notifications?

    No.

My only issue is with Wechat. It's still showing in my hub after deletion.

I tried looking through Ghost commander but I can't seem to find the directory/ies where this damn file is hidden. Looked for "tencent" and wechat to to avail.

When BlackBerry switched the Facebook app to a Web link, it deleted everything fine for me.

Maybe try installing the latest Facebook from BlackBerry to remove the old Facebook from the hub, then uninstall it as well.

This does NOT work for me. I have HG10 and S10 accounts that remain in the hub.
