Folks, I have a Q10 that has all my updated contact lists. How do I copy the Contacts list from Q10 to Z30? I use both devices, each has a sim card, but from different countries, different service providers. Thanks for your help.

If they are locally stored, use bblink. Either backup restore everything or device switch everything.

If cloud stored in email service(gmail,yahoo,hotmail/live/outlook etc) just associate same email

If neither available, can use bblink to sync to outlook and sync back.

There are also some 3rd party apps in bbworld

Get Max Contact Manager (or any other app like that from BBW). Will export / backup all contacts to the common ".VCF" file format, which can be read by the Windows Contacts app, or pretty much any contact management software out there, even other phone platforms.

Better back up with an app before you do a two-way sync. You might end up losing contacts or create a mess. Link is not perfect yet. Sorry.

I recommend using firechest backup, but you need a Dropbox account for it.

All, thanks for your suggestions. Since I was going on a business trip and I did not have enough time to explore, I just used copied onto the sim cards. I will certainly try out a couple of the suggested methods when I get the time.

Contact X backs up contacts perfectly. To be extra safe take the back up file that it saves on your micro sd and email it to your self so if you ever lose your phone you will have the file saved and can still keep your contacts.

Make sure you use cloud storage for your contacts. I suggest Outlook.com only because of EAS which works flawlessly on 10.2.1.

From my experience Gmail is a bit iffy.

I remember that was a bluetooth option to do this but device switch method was the one I used last to switch from a z10 to a z30.
