Hi there. I have a subscription to a VPN service. It's Astrill, but actually it could be any of those hundreds of VPN that are available to the public.

The thing is that, on BB10 (I own a Q5), this is not the same thing as , for example, with Android. The choices of VPN is Cisco something, Juniper somewhat, Microsoft blah blah...

Astrill can't tell me what I have to choose as a server type.

    Can anybody help ?
    Thanks!!

It looks like Astrill uses a specific desktop client, is that correct? If so, it may not work on BB10.

To the best of my knowledge, BB10 doesn't support common VPN protocols like PPTP, L2TP or OpenVPN so the only chance is connecting through Microsoft IKEV2 protocols that I'm afraid Astrill won't support.
The following tutorial could give you better idea of IKEV2 configuration on BB10:

    Hope it could help.

On the current 10.3, it's all the same no PPTP nor LPTP or openvpn
