Hi! I have a few videos and trimming them still makes them over the size limit to send them through whatsapp or email.

    What can I do? Thanks

Maybe upload them to a third party site and send the link to the people that you want to see it.

The best way I've found is to upload to YouTube as an unlisted or private video and then send that link to your recipients. That way, your recipient can decide whether to view it in full 1080p or save some time/data by watching in a lesser resolution.

Yeah - I use the YT route also.

As BB10 no longer allows you to limit videos to a size that can be sent by SMS, I took a video and trimmed it until it was accepted by my Z10's SMS - it was under 3 seconds long. Guess that's why the option went then!

I think it's the same for smartphones generally now. What with the large file size of bigger screen vids.

On Windows machines, there's a fairly easy to use program called Handbrake, which will allow you to transcode your video to meet different size and compression targets. I'd suggest giving that a whirl.

It runs quite quickly if you have powerful video hardware in your computer too!

    Best of luck!
