The thread title states my question. I've searched these forums, and browsed through the various tutorials on CB, and in the BB10 Help files, and can't find anything addressing this. The only formatting options in email available to me are things like bold, italic, colors, and other HTML-based options. How can I send an email which contains no HTML at all?

    Thanks!

Tap on the 3 dots while composing an email on the right and select "plain text format" I believe this should do it.

Thanks for the quick reply, but there is no "plain text format" listed in my email overflow menu. Was this added new in 10.2.1?

Aha, thanks for this. Yet another reason to update! That KB link doesn't say anything about using plain text as the email default, only about changing it per email. Will there be a setting to make plain text the default too? Thanks again!

Has anyone found a way to make plain text the default for composing email in 10.2.1?
