    For instance, Google maps looks like it could almost be a native app after the OS update. Why would there be any changes with an app that's not native to Blackberry?

    surely the runtime being jelly bean will not change the ui of a gingerbread app without an update to the app ;/ im pretty sure the runtime wasnt gingerbread in the first place but im using it as an example

    I noticed the same thing. Side loaded apps and android non native apps seem to be smoother too.
