Due to problems in the Android Runtime I want to cancel the update. I always use automatic download for updates and now the update is donwloaded and ready for installation. When I reboot the device the update will be installed, says the message. So no rebooting for me. How can I cancel this process? Any ideas on that subject?

Let it happen. Then turn off automatic updates, and sideload the old Runtime.
