Why does my phone constantly roam to AT&T what setting so I have to change to stop it? This is how I have it set.

Telus, I live right on the border and I understand I may lose service but these texts are becoming annoying.

The roaming setting is only for data unfortunately. As far as calls/texts, you'll have to contact your carrier about that.

Yours is a very rare situation.

This is a common problem with Cdn carriers near the border. I am on Wind and go to the Port Colborne area frequently and get switched to T-Mobile regularly.

Have you tried doing a search while your network setting is on manual. That should bring up Telus and AT&T and you can select Telus that should keep it locked on to it.

My friend used to have this problem and she'd have to phone her company every month and complain.

Canadian carriers know. They also know which cell tower ( even if they tell you they don't) are the problem.

They can put a permanent cancel on your service for US.

BUT.. then you need to tell them when you are going to the states to re-open roaming.

Well, your phone is set to manual and shows ATT as the ONLY network. I would say that your device is doing exactly as you requested it to.

I don't ask my phone to do anything, I can be on telus with a good connection, lose connection and jump onto AT&T without me touching it, I don't scan and ask it to use AT&T ever.
