    If you connected it to your tv with an HDMI cable and have your tv input set to the correct HDMI then all you need to do is tap on your video file.

    Are you connected wirelessly (miracast) or with a cable (HDMI) to the TV?

    Click on the "playon" feature on the phone when playing the video. It's the icon in the bottom right corner. Should bring up a list of display options to play on.
