    I am unable to install the BlackBerry Link on my desktop... how can I take backup...is ter an alternative..

    What do you need backed up? Can you install ANY programs on your PC?

    Well, you could plug in your device to the PC, let it load the drivers, and then you could just do a "drag/n/drop onto your desktop of your Music/vids/docs/etrc. and then import your contact list to the Micro SD card, and copy that to your music/vid/doc copy folder. This is not a true "Backup"/Image of your device, but at least your docs are backed up.
    I would try to find out why you cannot install BB Link onto your PC.........Maybe your Anti virus/firewall is blocking you? Or is this a machine at your workplace? That may explain why you cannot install BB LInk, your IT policies at work?
