How can I delete core apps or hide icons?

Hi guys. Just got a Q10 a few days ago. So far I'm really liking the whole blackberry experience. Haven't had a blackberry since my 9650. Anyways I was wondering if there is any way to delete some of the default apps? I don't see anyway to hide them either as used to be the case with my other blackberry. Thanks in advance.

You can delete an app by long pressing the icon and tapping the trash can, or by selecting an app in the Storage tab of Device Monitor, which is accessed via Quick Settings menu.

For some core apps that you aren't permitted to delete, you'll see no trashcan option. All you can do with these is dump a bunch into a folder so it only takes up one icon spot. To create a folder, long press an icon and drag it onto another icon.

You should hold an icon and then click the icon trash to delete it!

Or you can go to setting > app manager > device monitor > storage and you can delete apps there!

What I have done is, after dumping all the icons I can't delete and don't want, into my "crap file" I then drag it (the file) over a few frames so I don't have to look at it.

So there is no actual way to delete those help or tutorial icons? That sucks!

That's exactly what I do too.

There's a method but it involves using your computer and the Chrome extension. I strongly recommend against using it if you don't know exactly what each app/process does

Better way...drag one on top of another and name it "Junk"... then drag the rest in there...that way every update won't try to re-add them...

I made an "Unused" folder and moved all these icons there.
