Hi there,
I own a Blackberry z30. Is there a way to connect the device (in development mode) with Kubuntu Os?

You can download the Momentics IDE for Linux and connect your device with development mode easily. Or you could install Sachesi which should 'just work'. Or you might try to access your phone through SMB either with WiFi or USB.

The main question is - what do you want to do? And yes, it is possible to use BB10 on Linux pretty well. There's no Link but almost everything Link does is available via other tools and Sachesi. The only thing not possible in Kubuntu is reflashing via autoloader.

I'm an Android developer. I've been using blackberry z30 as test device to deploy android apps directly from eclipse in Windows, i want to do the same in kubuntu. I have set up eclipse and blackberry ADT tools, but i can't get to connect the device in development mode.

For me it runs out of the box on the most recent Kubuntu Version.
But when there are connection issues, checkout the Sachesi website, I know it's not about Sachesi here, but there are some tips for your /network/interfaces file.
I'm not at home right now, so I can paste it here for you.

I just downgraded to Kubuntu 14.. and everything works fine

The problem is in network manager. Just configure connection by hand.
