How about build a site to track our BlackBerry OS feature requests?

Dear all,

I'm a BlackBerry fan and I'm carrying a black Passport. I have some feature requests, and I saw there are more in CB forums. So here comes the idea: How about build a site to track our BlackBerry OS feature requests?

* We collect feature requests in CB forum
* track features implemented in new OSes, and fixed bugs
* We vote there to let BlackBerry know what we eagerly want in next OS release
* Make sure it's easy and clear to let BlackBerry and we BlackBerry device owners/fans check the requests

You may say we should post our feedbacks in official BlackBerry forums, but the problem is, we don't use their forum and it doesn't allow us to vote.

Any comments?

Sounds like blackberry.icanmakeitbetter.com, but they're shutting that down in favour of just using beta zone.. so maybe they could make the beta zone more open and user friendly..

Betazone sucks, some programs are not open to ALL registered people. For example, BBM.

Well let me rephrase it for ZHB: While some aspects of BlackBerry are great, some aspects of BlackBerry suck! Really Suck!

Hmm I've sent in a few bug/problem reports and unfortunately never received answers to ANY of them from BlackBerry...
For one topic, another user answered and reported the same problem but again - no answer from BlackBerry.

This makes bug reporting a bit senseless because I have the feeling that my reports do not care or are not acknowledged, you know?

I think that is a great suggestion that would help drive even more hits to CB. It should also be something BlackBerry could support. CB and others have done this periodically before, but there is no sustained effort and no place you can vote.

It would take some programming to get right, but I would support it.

Indeed, I really hope this takes off because bb users talky need the love.

I am a power mobile user and own various products with different Os's and they all have their issues. These are the breaks.

For those that complain hard, learn programming and fix it. Otherwise complaining doesn't help, get proactive my fellow bb users.

I'm quite busy but I can take the part of the coder for this. just make a wish list how you would like it to be done. Although I believe a reddit feed might be the best. It has everything, up/down vote, commenting and so on. It's pretty much the perfect medium for such

Would be pretty toothless, but a subreddit would do well for this sort of thing. Have some sensible moderation to filter out the stupid and make it better.
