I locked my house down using a hard wired DSC system with envisilink for mobile use. I coupled it with a generic dvr and cameras.

I use a home built software solution based on eyezon for my mobile to control the security system and an android IP cam viewer for the cams.

Works OK for me. But took some effort for sure!

I have Rogers Home Monitoring. The Android app works flawlessly on my Classic.

I use the Vivint web site from my phone. It works better than my wife's use of the android app.
