I noticed this problem a couple of weeks ago, and it didn't coincide with a recent leak installation. When I press or hold one of the volume buttons, the volume level display at the top of the screen jumps around making it hard to land where you want it to be set at. Is this a hardware breakdown or has it been associated with a particular leak? I was on 10.2.1.2141 at the time it first showed up, but have also noticed it with the 2234 leak. It also doesn't happen all the time--about 50%. Thoughts?

Ok a couple of thoughts come to mind. Was the device dropped or exposed to moisture? Are you using only an OEM power charger, or have you used 3rd party chargers or a charger for another phone? Physical damage to the power button is possible but unlikely, MORE likely is moisture damage. Also it could be a voltage issue related to use an improper charger. And it could be software as you suspect.

HOWEVER I have not heard of this being a common issue, or seen people complaining about this often.

Only OEM chargers, no drops, no moisture. I am pretty careful with it. Always keep it cased.

I suspect that this is a hardware problem. If this is a bug on the latest leak, most of them should've noticed by now. By the way, what device are you using?
