    Hi everyone,

    I need some help.
    I'm running a Passport, OS version 10.3.0.908.

I've had the following set up on my phone since release date in Canada for the passport (well heck since day one for the Z10).

    I have the following accounts:
1 - active sync through work (calendar and email - roughly 50 emails combined a day)
    1- outlook.com email, a couple emails a day
    1 outlook.com that doesn't get used
    1 - twitter account
    1 - facebook
    1 - bbm with a group calendar
    Text
    Whatsapp used for one contact.

I've recently been informed that i've gone over my data and i've noticed that the PIM service have eaten a lot of that.

The device is my primary device, however I spend most of my time on wifi so I can't figure this out to save my life.

I'm actually thinking about formatting my phone and adding the accounts back one by one to monitor it.

Would anyone have any ideas as to what's going on. Please keep in mind that my account settings have never been altered and i've never encountered this before.

    Thanks in advance

Something like that happened to me some months ago, battery was also being drained. The fact was that one of the accounts had an incorrect password and the PIM was trying constantly to connect with no result.

    Thanks for info.

He weird thing is that I know first hand that each of these accounts work as i've tested each one.

    Similar here.
I'm fascinated by users stating 20+ or even 30+ hours.
I can make 6 to 8 hours of heavy use, mostly because of screen and PIM.

If it was recent I would say it was due to fb app not working and connecting, because that drained my battery a lot
But since it's over time, it seems something is not set up correctly for accounts, or you're syncing lots of attachments
In either case, I would wipe the device and start fresh

Everyday my average battery life lasts longer from 13hrs from purchase date to now 1 day and 4 hours, totally chuffed coming from Z10 which I loved but hated the battery life immensely could never get more than 8hrs if that from 100% to 0

You know I was thinking the same thing. I know that I don't have the 'download images automatically' set but I can't seem to find the attachment one.

Do you think a device wipe is needed or could I get away with simply deleting the accounts and then adding them one by one over time?

Go into each of your accounts on the BlackBerry and retype the account password. Lately I've been seeing PIM sucking life out of the battery

I'm all for doing that but would it account for the data usage? My battery is actually doing pretty well.
4.x ongb data and 13gb on wifi. That just seems so excessive.

Lately I've had the same problem - my PIM service used 340mb of data in 2 days. I have 4 email accounts (calendar and contacts) on my Q10. I have now deleted 3 of the accounts and monitor my usage. If I add those accounts back on and set update to manual and only update on wifi will that lower my data usage?
