I like to use File Manager for quick access to PDFs, pictures, documents and downloads....
What's the possibility of hiding some of the general folders from view? (books, misc, print, voice, etc.)
I don't use most of these and it would be nice to streamline the process when I am trying to get to a specific folder.
I've tried going to folder properties>checking hidden. I get an error that I need permission from the root file. Easiest way to keep the folders there but hide them from view?

If you are talking about SD card, you can rename the folder as "1. PDF", "2. Documents" so that these numbered folders always come above. But this is not possible in device folders.

Other option is you can use third party apps to hide folders.

I don't think you can. If you want instant access, just renamed your folders (01 PDFs, 02 Documents...). Something else you can do is download an app. I think something like DocuShortcut where you can pin things to the home screen, like folders.
