    Hi!
A "new" feature I just discovered yesterday after more than a year using BB10 is the double tap in the HUB.
Actually, when you double tap on the icon of a message, it marks it as unread. Not that easy to perform at the beginning though but it's quite useful for me!
I don't know for how long it has been there so apologize if I'm just discovering an old feature from BB10.0...

You can just single tap the message sign far left in the hub to mark as unread

You should edit number 4 that on touch screen phones you press the caps lock key.
The only new thing I learned is that if you put two fingers on the typing bar the app crashes

    Two queries:

    1. The bbOS7 has a feature which could 'undo' a particular action while typing.
Can somebody please tell me if the same is available on the bb10 OS.

    2. How do I "select all" in BlackBerry hub etc?

    Q5SQR100-3/10.2.1.3247
There is no select all function in hub.

My apologies, I was attempting to quote the person above you who answered the question where I answered the very question in the post below the original question.

I.e. They posted an answer when I had already posted the same answer right below the original question.

You were an innocent by stander and I apologize.

I learned that on the Z10 keyboard that I hold the shift key and then press the send button in BBM I can get a new paragraph.

Btw, Duckduckgo is not native to BlackBerry. I had to go into the browser and add it. Go into the native browser and find your favourite search engine. Go to the flow button and look for " Add Search". Not all alternate internet search engines can be added.

I hope this adds to the BBOS10 experience.

Also, the search feature is awesome. It's a one stop shop for looking for stuff either on the device (contacts, calendar, etc.) or Internet (Duckduckgo or Google, etc.). You can sort of customise it to.

The add search does not show up all the time. The search engine can be added select the flow button (button with the three dots) and you should see a big Plus sign next to " Add Search".

Otherwise, Go to mycroftproject.com. There they have all sorts of search engines. Find a search engine you like, select and a window will pop up for you to add a plug in. This is one way to add a search engines. riyanast told me about that one(I can't take credit for that).

Well I got the mycroftproject to work.

I don't have the add search engine option. Is that a 10.3 feature?

Nope. I'm running Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.3247. Mycroftproject.com has a number of plug in links that once selected it brings up a window ( see attachment) that allows you to add a search engine. In this case you won't necessarily get an " add search" when using flow button. I was trying to point out that there are two ways of adding search engines to the BlackBerry browser. See if this works.

When did Blackberry add the choice of 3 Search engines? Google, Bing, and Yahoo?

I recently discovered this a while back, it's not in the settings and it's very hard to see if you don't look at the search.

I was using Bing the whole time, it's slow as hell and half the time it doesn't work well for me.

To select a few paragraphs, just keep on holding any text for a few seconds and it starts scrolling down to the end of the page, thereby letting you stop if you want to instead of just selecting the whole thing.

Bring up the search engine you want to add in the browser. Then click the overflow icon, and "Add search" option is there.
