Use an Android file browser and delete the leftover folders or SDMaid lol. Delete the app by long-pressing, then pressing that little X. Boom. Done.

I was told to use Ghost Commander, from Amazon App store. Long press the app, then select "manage," which takes you to android app info. Then select "uninstall."

Does anybody know how to uninstall the Android apps which BlackBerry 10 no longer sees (those uninstalled while BlackBerry 10 had the Android removal bug)?

I've patched the runtime from BlackBerry World but I've never got back the wasted storage space.

When I use 'ghost commander' , Long pressing opens the dialogue box to Uninstall the application but as I hit the uninstall 'ghost commander 'shuts down. There has to be an easier way to Uninstall android apps??

You have to update your Runtime first from BBW.

OK, I downloaded the runtime and it says initiating for about 45 min now. Is it about right? Or am I doing something wrong?

You're supposed to reboot, not "open". Then give it a few minutes to settle.

If you don't see the apps in the Applications screen of Ghost Commander they might already be uninstalled.

Long pressing an app should show a popup box with a "Operations" heading. Are you trying this through the Applications screen?

Thanks for the heads up. it worked.

    Simply,
    1-download 'ghost commander '
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/78977
2-download/update the runtime as explained somewhere above.
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/39879918
3-When it appears in the BBW, REBOOT the device WITHOUT opening the app within BBW.
    4-wait 5 min or so.
5-Then you will be able to Uninstall the android apps using 'ghost commander '. Just touch the app long enough to open a dialog box. Select 'MANAGE '.
    6- Uninstall the app.

    Done.

    Thanks for your assistance.

I have a couple of gigabytes of space being used up by the apps I can't see, I can't see them in Ghost Commander. A bit lost.
