Great job and thanks for positing sir.
    I agree good explanatory guide.

However the amount of alerts storage and ram use: on top of regular emails, apps, sms/mms, call log, calendar etc will increase exponentially (usage of ram especially). This of course depends on how often frequent updates occur. And all od this is headless as the Hub always operates in real time.

I am not the OP and I certainly don't have the insight or knowledge he has, but for me I get email notifications any time someone sends me a Facebook Messenger message or adds to an existing Facebook Messenger conversation. The emails show up in my Z10's hub just like any email and from the email I can directly launch into the Facebook Messenger browser page to reply, etc... most of the times message itself is in the email (they seem to be fairly rich type emails from Facebook). Same applies if someone responds to a post or a comment, in terms of those emails I also get in my hub.

    Very clever workaround!!

We know blackberry is strong with email communication so it's a great idea to utilise that.

I am willing to bet the battery lasts longer too. Does anyone notice that happening?

Awesome work! I just think that the FB page is starting to be a bit laggy. I'll try this out and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, get rid of the Android Apps for facebook and instagram. Twitter for BB10 still works wonderfully well and it is my go-to app on my BlackBerry.

Only thing else that would be neat is a custom browser script or applet that would read/export all FB contact details (from FB website) and allow us to either manually or semi automatically merge/link those to our contacts. With not using the FB app anymore, I have realized I liked the FB profile pictures being in my contact list, plus sometimes a few other pieces of FB contact details that I did not otherwise have. Those are obviously never there now when using the browser for fb.

Just search for Facebook for BlackBerry 10 .bar and install it with sachesi. I did this and it works like before.
