i have a big problem with my z10
i have a leaked version 10.3.0.700 on my phone and try to install a latest 10.2.1.3253 os autoloader
while process my mobile is turned off and flashing red light 6 times :-/ 1+3+2
and am trying to reload with Link but there is no way and still blinking
what can i do, my z10 is dead ??!

No! I think you cant brick bb 10 device run other autoloader and relax :P

I've had this before. Generally a corrupted download. Always get it with chrome, try Firefox for downloading or another autoloader

The browser you download the autoloader makes a difference? I have downloaded the. 700 leak multiple times and installed multiple times and every time I get the same outcome. 2 flashing lights then 4 flashing after. Do you think if I try downloading the. 700 leak again on a different browser or computer it could help?

For OP if you don't mind and if it works, for my issue I could hold down the power button for like 10 seconds and after doing that a few times it would turn on and work again.

Then ?! ?! i should install a RADIO AUTOLOADER (3182) or ?! ?!

Debrick is the signed files of the entire OS only, it's a .bar file that you can install (sideload) using a software like sachesi. It's similar like you're doing an OTA (Over The Air) upgrade. But, you have to sideload all the .bar apps files using sachesi because unfortunately, if you upgrade by sideloading the debrick file, it won't upgrade your apps, so you need to extract all the bar files from that debrick file and sideload all those extracted bars (you can use sachesi or darcy's tool to extract). Core OS Is only the core file of the OS, without all other apps such as bbm, camera, hub, etc. And radio is only the radio.

Autoloader is usually an exe files containing a complete OS including the radio but by using autoloader, it will wipe your device unlike if you sideload debrick, radio, extracted bar files using sachesi that won't gonna wipe your phone's data.

I prefer to sideload since i don't like to have to restore all my settings and 3rd party apps. It's time consuming.

And, i forgot to mention, if you previously upgrade your phone using sachesi, DON'T try upgrading the radio files only using autoloader. It will soft-brick your phone.

Thank you so much for this! I downloaded via Chrome and bricked my phone. Thanks to your post I hopped on Firefox and got it working again.

I want to put down the problem and the solution here for the sake of completion of this thread.

Images:
10.3.01.0938_STL100-2-3 & 10.3.01.1016_STL100-2-3 were tried.
Images were downloaded using Firefox.
The observation is, if you reboot the phone, you get 6 blinks. It's more in a .... 4 blinks... slight delay... 2 blinks...... long delay ..... types.

Solution:
What I do is, remove my battery and wait for 10 minutes (sometimes upto 20 minutes) After that if you insert the battery, the phone comes up fine again.

Anyone knows why this happens?

Not sure if you have the same problem unresolved but if you do here is what I did. I just had the same problem when I tried installing OS 10.3.1.2267 on my Q10. The red blinking LED is all I got and the phone not booting. This is because of a corrupt OS installation. I down loaded the autoloader at,

Then do the following,
1. Backup, but if you have a red blink then your data is already lost.
2. Close BB Link (make sure it is closed in the system tray as well)
3. Extract the downloaded autoloader using an appropriate extractor (.zip, ,rar, or 7z format)
4. Plug in your phone via USB data cable
5. Run the extracted executable file
6. Sit back and watch

The OS should load and phone will be booted automatically. Make sure your laptop (PC) is plugged in. that's it.
