I am running the 10.2.28 OS version.
This morning I got a notification for WhatsApp Upgrade and promptly selected for it to be upgraded. The upgrade went smoothly but once downloaded, I am unable to run the application.


Closer scrutiny revealed that I keep getting offered Version 2.9.4662.0 which was released on April 2, 2013!!!! I have tried loading by scanning the barcode on AppWorld and even sending the download command from AppWorld, I still get offered the wrong version.
This is the right version as blogged and reported on AppWorld.



How do I correct this?

I don't know if this is related but I had 10.2 alpha before I loaded 10.1.0.4357 and there were some apps such as crackle and others that just wouldn't work once I installed 10.1.0.4357 they all worked beautifully. I think something is just wrong with the 10.2 alpha os and if u haven't switch to 10.1.0.4537 it's got a ton of cool new features and seems to be much more stable.

Might just have to go down that route. I have the 4537 but am loving the new Voice Control in 10.2.
