Is there a way, like a setting in Text messages, to get texts to show up as 1 long message instead of being broken up into 2 messages, 1/2 and 2/2? They often show up out of order, makes it confusing to read.

Well text messages can only be a certain character length. So no. They have to be broken into separate parts.

I remember with my Bold 9900, long messages were never broken up into multiple messages. It always came as 1 long one, but that doesn't happen with my Z10

Can't be done. There's a limit to the parts. If it gets way too long it turns into an Mms message.
