Hello. I am asking for your help.

I was holding my Passport on the back pocket, and when I took it off I got a notice that the SD card was formatted....well, on it I had all my pictures and videos...I supposed it was a system error, I rebooted the phone, took off the sim card, but nothing. The SD card was like non-esistant. I connected my phone to the pc, and it is able to see it, but...empty.

I read on the internet that it is possible to get files back even after formatting...

I am devastated. All my pics since 2013.

    Any help?

    Thank you.

SD cards should never be considered "safe" storage. You need to backup regularly, regardless of phone or OS. Even when the problem isn't the phone (as it was in this case), SD cards don't die gracefully - the die instantly with little or no warning.

This is one of many reasons that cloud backup is so popular.

Well, I have to send the card to a service, as it was formatted but windows 10 does not recognize it...

    Thank you again.
