I have a MacBookPro which runs 10.9.5, and iCal 7.0. The problem is that while appointments I add on the blackberry, will sync and show up on iCal, but something I add first to iCal will not show on the blackberry.
(blackberry--> iCal=sync)
(iCal-->blackberry=no sync)

I have a Blackberry Q10 which runs 10.3.2.556 and BlackberryLink 1.2.2 build 32.

I use Link on my PC, but on the Mac version there is a Sync Calendar/Contacts under the Device Menu, so I'd start there.

Check the sync intervals on your phones setting. Should work flawlessly.
Check also the sync interval setting in iCal to see if it makes the changes online immediately or not.
