Another thread mentioned a clean install with the newer autoloader (OS 2163) should fix it.

Lol. I had the same issue.

I can't get Maps to open, it opens briefly, then closes, same for BB Virtual Assistant from BB World.
I have the same exact error

Has anyone fixed the gps problem by reloading the OS

Use maps.me and turn on location

Just did a fresh install and I still have the same problem.

Fresh install did not fix.
BB10 will outlast Android! Just you wait! Stage 1: denial
Still not working; but reset cleaned up phone so not a complete waste of time

Auto loader should help you.
So is it maps or GPS or both that is broken? Has someone used another app or service that requires GPS and has it worked for those apps or services. All I see is complaining about the BlackBerry maps which is easily replaced with NAVFREE or MapsWithMe.
Please someone specify what is not working.

I have tried many map apps live and off line. Map recognizes initial location but will not follow on the map or route. GPS will recognize my location when connecting to weather or searching Google for a near by business

That is very strange indeed. Has anyone received and updates to the initial update for 10.3.3? Just wondering if BlackBerry has releases any fixes to this buggy update. I heard they did
If so who is your provider?

No issue for me on either 10.3.3.2049 or 10.3.3.2163.
I can now confirm is just a problem that I don't know how it works lol I turned on and off my Location and now it works again xDDDDDD

The "kick it in the arse" solution. Lol.
Unlike others, the Location toggle did not work for me. I switched back to my Q10 recently and everything's working well except for GPS/navigation. I used Cascarun today and it picked up on GPS for a split second, only to immediately drop. I've used all the GPS test apps/BBVE and they don't detect the GPS.
Full disclosure, I did bring a motherboard from one Q10 to another one. Is there a hardware-level fix for the GPS issue?
