I somehow (while adding an app icon to a folder) accidentally moved that folder inside itself and it is now no longer visible.

Is there a way to fix this?

You need to sleep and dream of a folder within a folder within a vault that contains another folder hidden inside another folder which is itself dreaming of hiding more folders in eponymous hidden folders, all of said folders dreaming of you losing your folder in itself.
