Help me, please. My SMS messages, alerts, Facebook notifications, etc. don't show up for hours and hours. Then they can't be deleted and even marked as read. Sometimes rebooting or resetting the HUB works, sometimes it doesn't. Had this issue when traveling but seemed to correct itself when it was hooked up to a computer again but nothing is working this time. Tried deleting all messages and was only able to do SMS. Wont let me delete all previous alerts, FB messages, etc. It is driving me nuts.

    Which OS version you're running?

This is an unusually severe case. I'd suggest a backup of your device before anything else. Do you know what the last three apps that you downloaded are? Quite often something is installed that disagrees with the hub. Do you have Skype installed? Or any side loaded apps?

I haven't downloaded a new app in a long time and I do backup regularly. Skype is loaded and I don't have anything side-loaded right now.

I agree with guygardner73 this seems like severe issue. Good news is that you backup often so I suggest that you take our memory card, wipe your phone, return memory card, launch bb link and restore your latest good backup

Well, that seems to be the consensus. It is clearly either an OS or hardware issue so I guess I don't have a choice.

I've got a hunch that Skype may be the problem. Before getting drastic, try uninstalling Skype, volume rocker reset, then see if the problem persists. Let me know how you get on.

Well, too late but a OS reload did NOT solve the problem so I will try that. But Skype has been on the device from day 1 and has never been an issue. Who knows?

I am having the same issue!! Did you figure out how to fix it...i have tried everything I can think of...and spent hours (like 8 hours) on the phone with rogers tech support and went to the rogers store..and noone can seem to fix this.

I am a realtor and it is imperative that my phone works...if I want my text messages that are coming in I have to take out the battery and put it back it..and it seems like my messages aren't sending either.

Pick the evening before your day off and back up your device using Link then run the autoloader for the 10.2.1.1055 leak. Once installed, restore your data on Link and leave overnight on silent and connected to WiFi. This is a stable leak that should resolve your issues. You can find the link to the autoloader in the forums here by running a search for 10.2.1.1055 for all devices. This process takes less than two hours and is really very simple. I have never previously installed a leak as I preferred to use the official versions but on 10.2.0 I had terrible problems with text messaging and downgrading the OS is more complicated than installing a leak so since I'd heard good things about this one, I took the plunge last week. I've no regrets and this is the fastest my Z has ever been. Also, there's a truckload of new features. It sounds like you have nothing to lose so I'd go for it if I were you.

That has to be one of the most naive statements I have seen on the forums yet.

NO major software is "bugless". No one ever releases perfect code that has anticipated every potential problem ever.
