    I feel your pain. Went through the lot of them. Uninstalling and reinstalling Desktop Manager, resetting the wifi router, googling endlessly for cures....I should have looked here first to see if anyone else was having the same problem. Doh.

    i ve made a factory reset and i me stuck at update software. Any suggestions?
    sign in to blackberry id when it ask after that let it check software update ...... it will not stuck there ...... make sure your wifi working well ........ I had the same issue yesterday many times I restarted but nothing happens then after an hour mobile said unable to register in bb infrastructure then simply I gave email id and it didn't stuck on software update

    Seems al fine now. Updates went through but dit a restore with Link on my MacBook with Mavericks on it, holy hell, took 14 hours on the damn thing. Do not know what Apple has changed, it is not for the better

    Ugh, official update caused even worse battery life, unable to get through a day, so decided to security wipe the device as it seems to be the only way to get back battery life on BB10, security wipe every few months.

    Now it's stuck on checking for updates like for everyone else here. Server down or whatever, so much for 'getting things done'
    BlackBerry are crap at software, this is disgusting, my phone is not usable and who knows for how long.

    Same problem 1 day ago..but now it works..

    Just wait about 2 hours..dont use your wifi connection..and walk around,maybe different place on outdoor...use your mobile network&data ( wifi off )...and it works, software update again...but its additional update ( 7 mb )...
    And u can by pass setup to home screen..
