I recently installed an app called Theme.

I quickly realized all the themes are geared towards OS 10.2.1.
(Wallpaper boxes around icons and bar at the bottom of the home screen.)

10.3 fits more icons per page and doesn't line up with the wallpaper. I chose a blank wallpaper and deleted the app. Now I have that stupid black bar at the bottom.

I emailed the dev and no response. Help anyone?

    Help...how to remove Theme?-img_20141126_100816.png

Have you tried looking for residual program files left over using File Manager? Did you try rebooting your phone?

If nothing else works you could always backup your phone with Link and then reinstall the OS again. Shouldn't take very long to get that done.

Hmmmm....not finding residual program files. Rebooted yes.

Hoping a reinstall of the os is a last resort.

    Any other ideas?

I don't think this is as simple as a wallpaper change, but I hope I'm wrong.

Awesome! Glad it worked out as I wouldn't have thought that was the solution.

There is no "theme" option for BB10 devices. When you use an app like "Theme", what it does is add an extra layer (boxes) to your wallpaper and sets that image as wallpaper. To revert, all you have to do is change the wallpaper. Nothing else.

Not true. If you read through this thread you would realize that didn't work. See the screen shot in op.

He just removed the "app boxes ", meaning he made the theme app generate a wallpaper with the black bar
