I think it's just some issues with BlackBerry's NOC the last day or two. I installed the 10.2.1 leak on my wife's phone and had a lot of trouble adding both yahoo and Gmail accounts. This was about 24 hours ago. Eventually it cleared up.

This is strange. I updated my Q10 to 1055 when I was in Hanoi last week. I can't login to yahoo either. This problem was solved itself When returned to Jakarta last Friday. No problem ever since.

If you could not open your accounts from setting while running on Os 10.2.1.1055 with android apps installed , try to delete one by one the android apps, and try if you could be able to open your accounts, mostly you need to remove it all before you could open your accounts.

I did have this problem, and after I removed all my adnroid apps, I could be able to open my accounts and add my yahoo mail account. Remember to check the server address, it should be rim.imap.mail.yahoo.com and rim.smtp.mail.yahoo.com

I had the same problem yesterday. Tried everything on the list, multiple times. Then it worked.

I've been having this issue since I installed the leak last night. If I'm reading this thread correctly, I should just wait and keep trying? Seems like there isn't anything in particular causing the issues. I did a fresh install with no restore and tried adding accounts as my first step before installing anything. All through the entire process, I have been receiving the same error as the OP, regardless of what I have installed or configured. I hope someone finds something concrete that addresses this issue

And just like that, it worked? I left the phone alone on my desk with the error message still up and went to do something else and the next time I picked the phone up, the account had finished adding on its own. This build is just weird...

Having the same problem. First time it installed Yahoo mail but not Contacts or Calendar. Deleted account, rebooted and reinstalled. Had Contacts and Calendar but no email. Deleted, rebooted and reinstalled again - numerous times and nothing installs. I get various error messages. Have tried installing from the Accounts menu and from Setup with the same results.

I'm not sure if this is related, but on my laptop, Outlook has connection issues with yahoo about once every week. I have to solve the issue by logging in to my yahoo mail through the website and then it starts working again. Yahoo sucks but I hate changing email addresses so I've kept it.

So. Mine just fixed itself. Had the same issue. Only thing I did different, delete all yahoo accounts, start from scratch. Try to create an account without going into advanced, let it fail. Immediately go to advance settings and finish it off there.

Not sure that this is what fixed it and it wasn't just a fluke but it is working. Maybe try and confirm?

I have been able to add my Yahoo email account as a pop account, and my Calendar with advanced setting and CalDav but I can't get my Contacts to sync using the advanced setting Carddav method. Tells me something like "Account can't be authenticated with my service provider." As far as I can tell all settings are fine.

OK, got it all to work. Yet again, deleted the Yahoo accounts I could install (pop email and CalDav calendar), rebooted and tied installing through the Setup app ... and it worked. As far as I can tell, I did nothing new. Just keep trying.
