hi,

I purchased BB Z10 new but the first day sometimes my voice is heared by other party and sometimes don't. So I decided to reload the OS 10.2 via blackberry link, but everytime it says that 'An error occured, check Internet connection"...
Now I found a solution that I can use autoloader from BB developer site. Please let me know that do I need the 10.2 OS file as well with the autoloader to reload or it will automatically download the OS from web while I start to reload ?

The autoloader on the BlackBerry Developer website contains the OS and radio itself, so you do not need any extra software to load it.

However, the autoloader on the BlackBerry Developer website is missing several apps, as it is a stripped-down OS intended for app testing.

The recommended course of action is to load one of the autoloaders that you can find here. I recommend the latest OS: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...00-1-a-918891/

Keep in mind, you'll need 7-Zip to extract this particular autoloader. 7-Zip

But actually my internet connection is unstable to I have to download through Developer site as it supports resume.
Also could you suggest me why Im having the issue that my mic is not working 2/10 times calling... is it a software or hardware issue.

If you can make do with the limited Developer OS, then you can go ahead and go with the Developer site autoloader. Still, I would recommend getting your hands on some form of 10.2.1 autoloader that isn't from the developer site.

Anyway, about the microphone, I wouldn't be able to tell. The best way to find out is to reinstall/install a different OS and see if the problem persists.

I think it's probably os as this seems to fix a lot of problems, what model do you have. Try the leak thurask suggested as long as you don't have the stl100-1 model. If you do try the one I suggested,

Yes, i do have the STL100-1 model... I wud try reloading with autoloader... so Im downloading the autoloader for stl100-1 will it be helpful for reloading as well ?

Your profile says you have a Q5, not a STL100-1 (Z10).

A STL100-1 autoloader for a given OS will load that OS and the corresponding radio to your device, so yes, it will load the OS again. To reload your current OS would require an autoloader for the OS that you have on the device right now. I would recommend going with a newer OS.

One the forums (for mic issue) they suggested to reload OS via Blackberry Link... But BB Link is not finding my Internet connection (it says that error occured while downloading OS) so I'm going to reload OS via autoloader... to have my OS again loaded to Z10

Am I going incorrect ?

Ok, Im downloading the 2234 version from Toobs link... a little question however its written there that the OS works on all variants, so can I install normally or I need to select the country code ?

Just down load the correct auto loader for your stl100-1 and then unzip the file , plug your phone into the computer and make sure bb link is closed, then click on the exe file and it will start and your led will turn green. When it done unplug and let it reboot.

The OS is packaged as a .7z archive. You'll need to download and install 7-Zip from a few posts ago in order to extract the download. Once the download is extracted, plug in your phone, back everything up and run the .exe file that you extracted out of the archive.

The link redierected me to toobs page, and I find the Z10 STL100-1 file : Z10_10.2.01.2234_STL100-1.7z

I'm downloading this and let you know once complete... thanks both for your help.
