I got my Z10 today at 1PM. I'm in the USA (a friend bought and shipped it to me from FiDo). I'm very excited, im sitting with it like 5 hours and still haven't put it down yet). The first thing i tested was the audio. I turned on the music and it sounded good. However, I found the volume is not loud compare to the bold 9930 which I'm using or the PlayBook. Is there any way to turn on the headphone boost volume like in the 9930 or PlayBook? I have a habit of listen to music very loud. I kinda need that feature. Is it hidden somewhere? Any idea guys?

Yes, there is a headphone boost. Look under "Settings"->"System Volume".

There is only Master Volume but no additional HeadPhone boost. I turned slide to maximum but still

You got the HD Audio checked? Not sure if it'll help, but can't hurt!

Ah, plug the headphones in and see! I don't have that option available, but haven't plugged in yet to see if the option pops up.

Yeah but you need to find it on line and use the proper boot loader. You download it via PC then use the micro usb cable to install it.

Yeah, so the feature came with the 10.0.10.85 update that was released. You should upgrade to that and try this.

I haven't received an update recently, I'm still on 10.0.10.85 on T-Mobile, and I have this feature.

Admittedly I didn't know about it until this thread and just engaged it. I'm looking forward to trying this out after work at the gym!

I don't also have these options. I'm on Vodafone Germany 10.0.10.99. Is this a Rogers specific feature we will see on 10.1 soon?
