    I'm trying to watch a movie using the hdmi output port connected to my television but the audio is lagged behind the video. Anyone else experiencing this? It's a movie in hi def. mp4 format

    I suggest trying a different movie, see if it still does it also trying the same movie but without hdmi output, see if it still does it, and let us know the results.

    Also does it do that when u play the file on a PC?

    I just tried scrolling through the movie on the pc. Didn't have any issues. I'll try watching without the hdmi output and see if it lags on the phone.

    playing the movie on my phone without connecting the hdmi cord: the audio still lags. So basically the movie is lagging on my phone.

    This is an issue with codec used to encode the movie. It may not be fully supported by the Z10. Your pc must have the correct codec loaded.

    oh i see. Thanks for the tips. I will look around for the best video program to convert my files to a better format for this phone.

    Actually I had this problem too. Seems in part due to file size, when I watch episodes it's completely fine whether I mirror it or send to HDMI. If you notice it seems to glitch when phone screen goes off but other times it still does it. As Aawork around I downloaded Local Media Player and no problem. Works like a charm. Downside is I have to copy to phone storage first, no biggie until an update fixes it.

    Can you find this hdmi output cord at say Walmart or best buy? What length should it be? What exactly should I say to a rep if I was looking for this.

    Yeah you should be able. Just ask from mini-HDMI to HDMI cable. Length is up to you

    Yup, quite a few codes have sync issues on the Z10. Hopefully addressed in software updates around the corner.
