I had a Blackberry curve 8300 from my company, when we went BYOD I got an iPhone 3GS which I still have. I'm more productive on my iPhone. Because it does so much more. Now understand I avoided typing on the curve as much as possible anyway,

My chunky fingers cause too many errors on my Q5, and I hate having to shift when doing repeated numbers on the keyboard, where I can do much faster number typing on my Z10.

Also, the more I type on the Z10, the more phrases it learns, and I find I can occasionally type a 7 word sentence with 3-4 flicks. It's pretty sweet. I think I'm Flick4Life.

No, but it was never easy for me on the curve either. I say for long emails the two are equal and they both are bad. If it's a long email, I waited to get back to my keyboard the same as I do now. Luckily I'm in front of a computer most of the time.
