I've never had those issues on my z10.1 but I'm on Rogers and I think we have a different oS version.

It's been a while since I was on anything less than 10.2 and I don't remember ever having those issues but they definitely don't exist in 10.2

I hate to say it but after 3 months on 10.2 I'm taking for granted the few issues there are. As long as I have Reddit in motion and CB10 to keep me occupied in the can until more apps come then I'm fine. But I like to try bleeding edge so as soon as there's a hint of 10.2.5+++ I'll be all gitty again looking for more fixes. (praying led)
I'm rooting for BlackBerry but the key is to get their OS back to OS7 standard. It was a practical OS but too heavy on the hardware. BB10 is quite dumbed down still. Too bad they didn't start bb10 a year earlier and launched with 10.2. It would be a different ball game
To answer your question OP, yes those issues are mostly gone.

I don't know about all the issues but no. 3 is going to be solved �n 10.2. For now if you want to send an email using instant action just write email and manually ad the name afterwards. It works this way.

I'm still on 10.1 but I've never had a problem with Issue 2.
You don't have to go into a text thread to delete it. Just touch the text and hold it down for a second, and the trash can option appears without you having to go into the thread.

What about these issues:
- Resize images before attaching them to emails.
- Editing a phone number in the dialler.
- Getting rid of "local contacts".
No.4 isn't fixed. You can't assign specific notification sounds to specific contacts.

For #3, go to Settings > Accounts > overflow menu, tap clear Local Contacts. Clear Local calendar is also there.

Not sure what you mean for #2. If you're referring to correcting a typo when manually entering a phone number to call, Yes that works. I just backspace to the error.
It works fine for me on 10.2.0.1767. I just tested it. From the Hub, I selected an SMS message, pressed & held until the side bar popped out, tapped the trash can. Bingo. Deleted.

Was that 10.1.0.4181? I was never on that version myself, but know two people who had a few issues on that version. Both ended up going to leaks and were good.
Is your Z30 with Rogers? Didn't think Rogers released any yet.

I agree. I have that option in 10.1.0.4181 on my Z10, although there is no SMS category specifically. Maybe it is included in email category???

I'm also on Verizon on the same OS
1) I have had similar problems, randomly switching and sending double texts. Try going to the hub select 3 dots, then text messages, under MMS turn Show SMS/MMs mode notifications, it may be a bit annoying but atleast you will know what mode you are in. I haven't heard of these problems with 10.2.
2) fixed in 10.2
3) true, didn't have this problem before the 10.1.0.4189 update. now I do. So just type email, then select compose e-mail and then add the names.
4) True, My only suggestion is if they are important to you get them to download bbm, you can then select specific tones/vibrates for them.
