Has the delay for the shutdown convinced you on keeping your BB10 device longer?

No.
Because I didn't intend to dump it.

By installing SNAP on my Classic I am able to use most Androids Apps, I installed Android WhatsApp, the primary reason for trying it, it works just fine, so no need for a new phone for me. Love the Classic.
Don't even use Whatsap, so won't miss it!

BlackBerry all the way. Just happy for BlackBerry users.

Yes!

No, don't use WhatsApp so what they do or don't do doesn't affect my decision.

Stopped using WhatsApp and have no intention of ever using it again.

Been convinced to use BlackBerry OS10 devices because of the WA shootdown for much longer!

My contract ends just prior to the BB10 shutdown date, so while I'm happy to have this small extension, I will be moving away from BlackBerry.
While I can appreciate that everybody feels differently, the BlackBerry 'experience', for me, has not be one where I would want to invest in another BlackBerry device. Jmho.

No change for me, as I don't use Whatsapp.
I will likely move to a PRIV, or possibly Mercury once the contract on my Classic is done. My workplace uses Google Hangouts, etc., with dual-factor authorization and I can't make that work with our configuration and the Cobalt patching. No fault of Cobalt - I can't configure the Google end to adapt.
So, I am almost certainly headed to BB Android PKB: I still want the PKB and BB!
Won't really impact. I have multiple devices and can always sideload the android whatsapp if necessary.

I will keep on using my Z30 as long as it works, independently from WhatsApp. To prepare for the january shutdown I downloaded an android wa version plus the patch for video and picture broadcasting that was on beta zone for a while. I keep them on my sd card, in case they will really block bb10 WhatsApp next June, I am ready to install them. For now, I just changed RGB colour by attributing a green light to incoming WhatsApp messages. I cannot do that on the other phone, that is a DTEK 50, whose led is not a RGB one, so I'm enjoying this opportunity as long as it lasts!

Good question, OP.
It does give a measure of security to those that depend on WA in case Snap and Colbalt's solution stop working.
Yes.

No. Will stay with BlackBerry as long as I can use BBOS10. I'm running Android WhatsApp at the moment and so far so good. No problems. BBM is my choice over WhatsApp but a huge majority of my contract are on WhatsApp. But I have to say if BlackBerry only produce android phones in the future then I'm probably on my last BlackBerry. BlackBerry must have its own OS or its just another android phone

I am very happy about the What's App reprieve. I have been racking my brain as to what could possibly replace my awesome PP.

I'll continue using bb10 as my first device as long as whatsapp is available, glad l'll be using it 6 months longer...
Though ! No real update in this last update...

Yes, of course.
Here in Italy 100% of my friends use whatsapp

No, whatsapp has extended it's life on my BB10 device. If it's gone, it's gone, my phone stays.
