    Pics of reference:
This is for signing into your Google account. The Google account prompt only works on Android devices. Click "Show more options" and choose another way like SMS.

Take your time and read the directions carefully. They work. I've set up my wife's contacts/calendar several times using them. And I set up my own on a Q5 recently.

Since you have 2FA on, did you set up one app-specific password for calendar and another for contacts?
I tried to but have no idea how to do it.
    Any guideline available for that?

Well, this needs to be addressed first before you can proceed, unfortunately. So, you don't have an option to receive a text or call with a sign in code?

As I mentioned, it won't work with a BlackBerry 10 device -- only devices with Android or an iPhone as shown in the screenshot above.

If you don't have your other phone available, you need to use a different sign in method.

If you have 2FA turned on, you need to create an app password and use that password to sign in. That's what the app password is for, no need to receive any code or add any devices.

Right, but I was trying to determine if Irene's even at the step where her Gmail account was added. If she's seeing that type of 2FA prompt on her BB10 device, that's not the case. Irene, can you confirm whether you indeed have Gmail showing up on your BB10 phone at this point?

It doesn't necessarily matter. If they're following the instructions they should be able to add the Contacts account regardless.

I promised you, I followed the directions carefully. I even wiped off the phone just to make sure I was starting with a clean canvas, but still nothing has changed.
I made sure the server link was correct and that my actual email address was in the link (replacing the "myname" part). I didn't use any quotation marks at the beginning or ending and did it several times since yesterday.
I also made sure the "sync" part was every 30 minutes and not manual.

OK. In general, it's recommended. So, you should now be able to create app specific passwords for your contacts and calendar. When you create one, don't close the password window that appears until you enter the password on your BB10 device.

I'd suggest to do it from your computer so you can keep the app specific password open on a screen that's separate from your BB.

Yes! Once mh1983 broke it down for me I was able to get it going on all my Google accounts.
I might put together some guided screenshots to add some key information and help other people who are struggling with this. Although they might seem like basic info to most of you, they are actually not of common knowledge to most of us
